UCMA IVR - Workflow or Core

    UCMA IVR - Workflow or Core

    The title says it all really.  I'm reading up on UCMA and looking to replace our Speech Server applications. 

    Other than prepackaged activities (a list missing some important items I might add) is there any compelling reason to use Workflow instead of just writing a service or application that uses the Core API?

    It is more personal preference than anything else. You can get more access to the lower level stuff from core but you could also mix the two.

    AS for me I tend to use work flow where I can then dip into Core if it offers something that I need..

    I agree about the missing activities. Which activities in particular were you looking for?
