Speech Server Days - Ft Lauderdale, Fl.

It's official now - I'll be speaking at the Microsoft Speech Server Days event in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on June 2nd.

I'll be doing a session on Speech Server 2004  R2 in the morning and I'll close the day out with a session showing off the new features of Speech Server 2007.

Scott Weider (Cantata-Brooktrout)  and Bill Ryan will also be speaking at the event. I'm anxious to finally meet these guys and hear them speak.

If you get a chance sign-up for the event and come hear us present. I'll be the only inexperienced speaker there so I should be good for a few laughs.

This will be the only SSD that includes a session of MSS 2007 so if you are anxious to see what the new version looks like then come on down and hear the "gotspeech guy" speak.

If you are attending the event then leave me a comment so that I'll know to look for you. Joe Healy (the .NET Developer Evangelist) for Florida has promised to have GotSpeech buttons made up for everyone. I'm sure that they will end up as collector's items and you don't want to miss the chance to get one.

Interesting note - all three speakers in Ft.Lauderdale are members of GotSpeech.NET.

My first session probably won't add anything for you but the ones done later in the day by Bill will be more advanced. The 2007 session I'm doing will probably benefit you.

Also the chance to meet, network and exchange ideas could prove invaluable.
