Site news, Speech Server insight and assorted ramblings
Speech Server Days

Microsoft and Brooktrout are hosting a series of Speech Server Days from Maine to Florida.

They are described as "a one day special developer session designed to teach you how to architect, develop and implement speech enabled applications using Visual Studio 2003 and the Speech Server platform."

I have been told that based on the results they will look into holding it in other cities as well

So, come on all of you East Coast developers - sign up and attend one of these events. Let's make such a good showing that they will have to do them all across the country for the rest of our brothers and sisters.

I'm going to try and attend the one in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl so if you are attending that one then let me know. I would love to meet up with you.

Since I work for Brooktrout I will be there too.  At each city, we giving away two copies of Sara's Morgan Rea's book "Building Intelligent .NET Applications" and two TR1000 for Microsoft Speech Server starter kits.  Sara was kind enough to sign the books for us, so they are sure to be collector's items.

Looking forward to meeting fellow GoT Speech folks at the events.
